FONTACULAR

A project commissioned by Monotype for their yearly Fontacular font sale on myfonts.com (and fonts.com). This was a big project with 28 original illustrations, type expressions, buttons, stickers, a pendant and a big, screenprinted poster. I created six typographic bundles, each with three unique illustrations. I also had to redesign the 28 original illustrations to make them fit for all the online ads, banners and for the give-aways. For this years Fontacular I created the theme of a funfair. With this theme I really wanted to showcase the fun, bright colours and typography that you often see when you go to a funfair, and I wanted to give it a bit of a nice 'vintage-y' twist with a fantastical feel to it. This was a really fun and ambitious project, I really enjoyed making all the needed assets and hearing all the positive feedback after the hard work.
