VOLKSKRANT MAGAZINE

An illustration I made for 'De Volkskrant, a leading newspaper from the Netherlands. The article they wanted illustrations for was about the top next theatre shows in the country. I love theatre so I was very excited to work on this brief. They wanted abstract symbols to showcase next to photo's of the theatre productions. I made a lot of symbols and risoprinted them, so it also created a really nice print. I then scanned them and made them use-able for digital print. I really enjoy making little symbols and I could experiment a lot with shapes and gradients, so I love the result. The riso print is even for sale here!
