STARDUST

I designed this zine about the feeling of wanting to change everything around you. Stardust is an experimental zine that explores the complex emotions of powerlessness, feeling stuck and isolation. In this zine feelings of smallness and invisibility are the central themes, alongside hope and the desire for change. I am trying to write more, I love writing and making poems and thought it would be nice to design a zine with text. I am not used to sharing those poems, but I was working on this and it just came to be spontaneously. I did the writing and designing of the illustrations together, so it was a really nice creative process. I sold out of them very quickly, and had lovely conversations with people about how they often feel the same way. Stardust really turned into a tool for connection and conversation, and will hopefully, if I can get the funding, be the base of an animation which explores similar feelings in the future.
