MAHSA AMINI

For the Trouw newspaper I had to honor to create this portrait of Mahsa Amini. She was a young woman, who was killed by police violence in Iran. The Trouw asked me to make a colorful, framed portrait of her. I made this for a column that is dedicated to the narratives of women in Iran. I intergrated Iranian elements in the illustrations. It's a very important topic, and I am very glad I got to work on this.
