MOM'S POEMS

I've had the privilege of illustrating pictures for my mother, a teacher from Friesland. who writes poems about the challenges children face during their elementary school years. Growing up can be tough, and through her poems, she aims to reassure kids that they're not alone in their journey. Every month, I design some new illustrations to complement her words. The goal of this project is to compile these sweet poems and illustrations for a publisher to put into a picture book that can offer some support to young readers that are in school.
